Decisions, Decisions

I have been contemplating this for some time now (as in about three days) and I think I have come to a decision...
I think I will buy yellow Vans for my summer fashion enjoyment.
Now I was feeling pretty good about this decision until I was thrown for a loop... there are two different shades of yellow Vans. So many decisions to make!
So what do you think?

Lemon Drop?

Or Citrus?

Or do you not like either of them?

Mind you, I don't spend all my time thinking about what color Vans I want. But I gotta do something to at least temporarily relieve myself of the stress of these last couple weeks of school! I sincerely hope that you already know I'm not that shallow.

Stolen Photos

Here are some pictures from the Nickerson family vacation! I stole them from my cousin Noah's facebook... I don't think he'll mind.

The whole fam damily

Cousins. I was the lucky one that got to hold baby Clare. It's my right as the oldest.

This is how a good portion of our time was spent. Just playing a little family cribbage. Little hint: Burke rocks at cribbage. He got a 24 point hand when we were playing Simon and Wyatt (I think). Yeah, we skunked 'em. Moral of story, try and get Burke on your team.

This kind of makes my heart melt. So cute :)

Man, I love my family!

(Forced?) Family Fun!

That is what my dad likes to call a family vacation, forced family fun. But there was nothing forced about all our fun this weekend. We had a family reunion for my dad's side of the family in Texas. It was awesome! It was a weekend filled with good company, fun, and lots of cribbage! It was so fun to all be together. We also got to see my cute baby cousin Clare get blessed.
We got to stay in an awesome hotel complete with an indoor water park. Talk about fun!

The Great Wolf Lodge in all its glory.

Yeah, it's as awesome as it looks.

The Tornado!

We love cribbage!

A weekend vacation was exactly what I needed. It was so nice to get away from school and to see my amazing family! Hopefully I'll get some pictures soon to put up. Thanks again Gram!

P.S. Have you ever seen War of the Buttons? I'm watching it right. It reminds me of my childhood and watching it with my family. Love it!

Obssessed

I have a new obsession. Longboarding. I have only been once, and technically I only went around the block (it took me like 10 minutes though) but it was so fun!

So if you get the urge to buy me a present and spend lots of money on me... I would not be opposed to getting a longboard.

I Love to See the Temple

Today I had the chance to go to the Draper Temple open house. We had to leave at 8 am to get there by 8:40 when our ward was supposed to go through. It was rough getting up but so worth it!
It was absolutely beautiful! I had this feeling of peace and awe as I walked through the different rooms. When we finished I wanted to turn around and go through again. I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to go through the open house!

What's in a Name

I think that I should explain the name of my blog. The significance of the name didn't actually hit me until after I started my blog.
Originally I planned on calling it "London Living" because I started it so I could keep my family updated on my Study Abroad in London. But I was too excited to wait until September to start using my blog so I changed the name to "Living and Loving Life." At first I thought this was a pretty generic name but when I thought about it more I came to a realization.
Often I feel like I am just living life. I'm just trying to get through and I'm not enjoying the journey. I also have the tendency to look towards the future a little too much. I'm realizing how sad it is to live your life just wishing for the future. So the name of this blog, "Living and Loving Life," is basically my goal, to enjoy life as it happens.

London!

I had my first prep class for study abroad today. It made me so excited! Ah I can't wait to live in London for 4 months!

This is where I'm going to be living, cool huh?

This is a study area inside.

There weren't very many good pictures online to put on here, but that's a little taste of what it looks like!

Can't wait!

Goals for the Week

Even though it's half way through the week...

1. Only say nice things
2. Spend at least 2 hours in the library each day
3. Run twice, swim twice
4. Read scriptures everyday
5. Get ahead on school work
6. Only eat sweets on weekends

I'm sure there is a lot of other things I could be working on, but these are the only ones I can think of right now.

A Really Good Sunday

This Sunday was the best Sunday I have had in a long time. I don't know what it was exactly. I guess it was the combination of perfect weather, good company, and the feeling of pure relaxation. The best part of the day was when my darling cousin Heather took roommate pictures for us! It was so fun to do it as an apartment and Heather did such a good job!

I love how you can see all our different personalities in all our pictures. You can see it in how we pose and how we dress. You can even see it in our different shoes.

I can't believe how lucky I've been to have these fun, beautiful girls as my roommates!

P.S. Isn't Heather good?! She did a fantastic job with the pictures. She's going to make a great photographer!
